What would be the best camera for a begginer photographer to purchase?

Good brands? What to think of when choosing the right one? Help me pick one! :)

    NIkon or canon. You can really enjoy them

    Try something like a Panasonic FZ7 – great , fast lens and lots of manual setting if needed.
